1st Rodeo Birthday Portraits in Ubly Michigan

Join me for Arrow’s 1st rodeo birthday portraits in Ubly Michigan. If you’ve been following me for a little while then you definitely recognize this precious family of three.

I started working with Nicole way back when she was only 2 weeks away from giving birth to baby Arrow.

And it’s been an amazing ride together since we took those first portraits.

Since then, I’ve been flying out to their home in Michigan nearly every month to capture content, but along the way I got to watch Arrow grow and grow!

It was an honor to capture his first birthday with the cutest theme – my 1st rodeo, the perfect birthday party (and portraits) theme idea!

The details that went into this party were so cute and fun to take photos of. Everything from pictures of Arrow from every month of his first year to loads of cow and cowboy decor. A favorite of mine was a board full of little facts about baby Arrow at this point in his life. It was the perfect personal touch. And of course no rodeo birthday party is complete without a cow cake and a table full of the cutest and tastiest sweets. I loved it all.

I’ve had the privilege to get to see little Arrow grow month by month. And I’ve loved watching him grow into the amazing little human that he is. So it was especially amazing to capture these 1st rodeo birthday portraits for this beautiful family.

It’s truly the best part of my job, the people aspect.

Whenever I get to grow with my clients and watch us go through life changes – that makes my job and life fulfilled. That’s the part that makes me the most grateful for my career. Getting to photograph the big moments and form lifelong friendships with those in front of my lens.
