Join me in Downtown Dover Delaware with Kaitlyn for her senior portraits! Personally I can’t think of a better way of celebrating her college graduation. She’s worked hard for years and now she gets to be an elementary school teacher!
I can’t explain the hold cap and gown portraits have on me. I get so excited to celebrate because I know exactly how special this time in your life is. Graduating is hard work, you should be proud of yourself!
One of my favorite things about these senior portraits we took in Dover Delaware is how customizable they were to Kaitlyn.
I’m a huge fan of how all of her props added so much personality to her session.
Everything from the classic red apple, to her custom sweater, to some of her favorite books. It all added such a sweet and colorful touch to her portraits.
In my humble (professional) opinion this is the way to go for senior portraits. I always encourage a mix of casual outfits and full cap and gown. Not only does it give you more options for your photos later on but it also helps portray your personality in the portraits. And it’s a great way of capturing who you are in this time of your life! As you well know, graduating college is no small thing.
It’s such a huge moment in your life and it deserves to be treated as such.
This session also got me excited to recognize the importance of teachers. Some of my friends I love are teachers, and some of the most influential people I’ve met have been my teachers. We would be nothing without our educators. So thank you all so much! You deserve all the recognition in the world for helping mold the minds of tomorrow. Let’s celebrate YOU.
