Best friend portraits are such a fun way to spend time with your bestie.

I was so excited since usually besties miss out on taking professional photos together. But this shoot showed me that we really need to normalize these types of portraits! I definitely need more of this in my life. It was a blast to third wheel Erin and Christina all over downtown. Even in the freezing cold the time we spent together flew by!

We braved the snow and I’m so glad we did because we got such fun portraits! But when the cold became too much to handle we ended up at a coffee shop. After grabbing some hot drinks we got more portraits to show off their bond over their favorite book series.

They made me feel like I was part of their friend group. It was the sweetest of days and I can’t wait til my next session that celebrates friendship!

So what are some tips on getting your greatest bestie portraits?

Pick a location that means something to you both. Maybe where your friendship began or a spot you both love! If there isn’t a landmark that connects you both then you can highlight a hobby that joins the two of you. Erin and Christina did this with their love for the A Court book series!
