Outdoor Anniversary Couple Portraits in Milford Delaware
I love celebrating love! It’s one of my favorite things to photograph, and these outdoor anniversary couple portraits were full of so much love I could hardly stand it!
We met for their one year anniversary portraits in Abbott’s Mill in Milford Delaware. And I’m so glad we did.
The way these two look at each other makes me want to ball up and CRY. (I’m a cancer and super sensitive by the way but that doesn’t take away from how beautiful this session was). Gabby reached out to me and asked me to come capture some couple portraits for their one year anniversary. And I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate their love story!
When I tell you that this session was so effortless, I MEAN IT. Not only were they an honor to capture on camera but they naturally posed themselves. And needed little to no direction! It felt more like I was simply documenting their love story than taking their portraits. They are so in love and sweet with each other I could barely stand it. But I’m so glad I was there to see it!
SO how can you prepare for your own effortless anniversary couple portraits?
I’m so glad you asked! First of all, try to get as comfortable as you can with the idea of being photographed. This one might sound obvious but it’s important to get in the right headspace! If you don’t, you might get in your own way and not get the dream photos you envisioned. But don’t worry too much about being photogenic! I firmly believe that people who aren’t photogenic don’t exist. They just haven’t found the right photographer for them yet.
It’s like dating! I’m sure most of us have had an experience where the chemistry was wrong, and they just weren’t our person! But when you find the right person, it’s magical. Finding the photographer that is “The One” for you is like that. And it’s so important!
When most of my clients come to me they nervously say they don’t know how to pose or what to do with their hands. And I understand the worry, but it’s all about being completely comfortable.
Your comfort is my mission! And so is having fun the entire time.
Enjoy being there with your person, relax, and we’ll make magic together!
