One of my favorite parts of booking a wedding package with a couple is scheduling the complimentary engagement session. It gives me a chance to get to know the couple better. But this is also a great way to break the ice with my wedding clients and get comfortable with each other.
A big reason why it helps to have these sessions so much is that it gives my clients a taste on how I work. They can visualize how I like to take photos, and what they can expect on their big day. And as a plus the couple gets photos to use for their save the dates. Plus it’s nice to have a reminder of this season in their lives.
Either way there’s always a good reason to get fun engagement portraits!
Amanda and Austin took advantage of this offer and we had the best time during their session. We decided on a location and date for their portraits and we were ready to go! So we met up at Battery Park! This is one of my very favorite locations to shoot at since it has the best of both worlds: Street style and nature.
Engagements sessions aren’t only for the couples that book a wedding package, especially since my wedding schedule is so limited! One of my favorite types of engagement sessions is surprise proposals.
